1. OVERVIEW

Welcome to The Hills Hoist Vintage. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean The Hills Hoist Vintage.

We operate this website and online store, including all related content, features, tools, products and services (collectively, the “Services”). Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and Services to you.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”), together with any policies referenced (including our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy), set out the terms on which you may access and use our Services.

By accessing, browsing or purchasing from our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

3. OUR PRODUCTS (VINTAGE & PRE-LOVED ITEMS)

We specialise in vintage and pre-loved clothing and accessories. By their nature, many items show signs of age or wear. Any notable flaws are disclosed in product descriptions and/or photographs.

We make reasonable efforts to display products accurately. However:

  • colours may vary due to screens and device settings

  • measurements are approximate

  • all items are photographed under studio or natural lighting and minor variations should be expected

All items are sold as described. Product descriptions may be updated or corrected at any time.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse service, or discontinue products at any time without notice.

4. ORDERS

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order at our discretion.

Orders are not confirmed until payment has been received and accepted. Once an order is confirmed, cancellations or changes may not be possible.

If we cancel or amend an order, we will attempt to notify you using the contact details provided.

Returns and refunds are governed strictly by our Refund Policy [LINK], subject to Australian Consumer Law.

Purchases are for personal use only and not for resale.

5. PRICING AND PAYMENT

All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) unless stated otherwise.

Prices may change without notice. The price charged is the price shown at the time of checkout.

Shipping, duties, customs fees and taxes (if applicable) are not included unless stated.

You agree to provide valid payment information and authorise us to charge the total order amount, including shipping and any applicable charges.

6. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Shipping times are estimates only and not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs, or events beyond our control.

Risk of loss passes to you once the order is handed to the carrier.

All content on this website — including images, text, logos, graphics and branding — is owned by or licensed to The Hills Hoist Vintage.

Our store is hosted by Shopify. All purchases are made directly with The Hills Hoist Vintage, not Shopify.

You acknowledge that Shopify has no responsibility for any aspect of sales between you and us, and you release Shopify from any related claims.
